ANCIENT CLEVELANDS HIDDEN PAST.
Appears to be a domestic pig mandible with a nasty abscess on the left side. Difference between the wild boar and domestic pig is the teeth.
I agree when i made this post i had only ever found two pig bones, both Mandibles but did not have any understanding between the wild pig and domestic, i have since excavated two wild pig ( Boar) and have noticed the great differences not only the teeth. Thank you very much for your input !
Please feel free to correct me on any part of my blog, i would also welcome any help that can be offered in correctly identifying some of my fossil finds All the best to all Heath.
