Human skull fragments excavated

These skull fragments have recently been identified as Human, they were excavated from over two
 metres into the same section of packed Stainton gravel beds, at my main excavation at Stainton beck, that i also excavated a Human Tibia shaft.

1 - I was wrongly informed that this was calcite alibaster, something i eventually worked out was incorrect, its not Calcareouse and very heavy with no streak.

Horse Coffin Bone

The four images show an Equus coffin bone found today at Stainsby beck just down stream from the Human Femur findes.

As with all the other finds this has spent very little time in the beck, no staining at all !

The bone would on a live animal would be hidden behind the hoof

New mineralised bone Stainsby beck.

 
Above today's finds after being washed and disinfected, the process of finding washing rapid drying ie radiators, and what you see took less than two hours.

The pen points to an unknown tooth growth to me as yet ? ive never come across this before.
