Aragonite has the same chemical composition as calcite, but with a different crystal lattice. With your permission, I'll post a few of your pics on Mindat for verification.
Cheers,
RogUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15517185067938664102noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3015030979391186455.post-55104264282191000482013-03-28T23:38:48.068+00:002013-03-28T23:38:48.068+00:00Rog these pics are very detailed at my end yet the...Rog these pics are very detailed at my end yet the blog pics are not so good the second image is probably the best, ive sent you some more via e- mail Heath Barneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10148085786081291218noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3015030979391186455.post-72608030284825826692013-03-28T22:17:50.755+00:002013-03-28T22:17:50.755+00:00Thanks for the info mate and ile try post some mor...Thanks for the info mate and ile try post some more detailed pics in the next half hour.Heath Barneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10148085786081291218noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3015030979391186455.post-85340482642097450862013-03-28T21:51:10.986+00:002013-03-28T21:51:10.986+00:00The needle like long thin ones are best described ...The needle like long thin ones are best described as prismatic crystals. The crystal point shown at bottom right of pic 8 is I think a little too "sharp" to be quartz, i.e the angle of the point looks wrong.
